My Pledge To You

Four years ago, I decided to run for International UAW Vice President with the idea of giving a voice to the Membership. I was fortunate to have won in the general election and was sworn in December of 2022.

Over the past four years we have seen good times and hard times. The 2023 agreements brought wage gains to our members as well as job security through new platforms and resourcing of work that had been done outside the country. Let me be very clear, I am proud of these gains but they were accomplished through a team effort. The 2023 UAW Top Committee as well as the entire GM Department worked collectively to create an agreement that protects our members and the communities they live in. This is also true in the UAW Gaming Department. I have the best team a union leader could ask for and see their dedication every day to represent you, the Membership.

As a member of the International Executive Board, I have tried to faithful uphold the duties of my office. That meant looking at each issue and making decisions based on what was best for this Membership.

I come to you once again asking for your support in this year’s elections. I make one pledge to you and that is to continue to serve you with integrity, transparency and dedication. Our Membership has endured swings in the industry, attacks from some politicians and internal issues. Your solidarity, your hard work and you devotion has built this great Union and Labor Movement. The leadership exist to serve you, not the other way around. I promise to never forget this and to continue to work with those around me to make sure that every day you received the representation that you so rightly deserve.
